Salesforce Essentials - Denver, Colorado



Attended the Salesforce Essentials. Nice to see some old friends and some new.... 

Observations 


1) Well-planned and executed - could have picked up the parking - a little nickel and dime experience that blemished the event 2) Came across as 'Dreamforce-In-A-Box' - solid model 3) Vendors were helpful, polite, and thoughtful PARDOT is the hidden GEM - focus on it with marketing automation.... 


Respecting the gorillas in the room, I believe that ExactTarget will create the best enterprise premium experience as a sales and marketing alignment. Out of respect for the marketing automation space, HubSpot, Eloqua, and Marketo are worthy to look at. Competition is GOOD. 

May you choose the best solution that FITs your current and future needs. Tailor where you can and don't invest in shelf ware. I'd rather see you take the family or company employees out for a dinner rather that WASTE money.
